Shoot'em Up Games on iOS in Australia: Q1 2021 Performance Overview

The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for Shoot'em Up games on the iOS platform in Australia. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear picture of how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with Gun Gang by Zynga Inc., the game saw its downloads peak at nearly 3.9K in early February, then gradually decrease to around 2.2K by the end of March. Weekly active users reached a high of around 18K in mid-March, with a slight decline afterward. Revenue trends peaked at $100K in the same week, followed by a moderate drop.

Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter from ABIGAMES PTE. LTD showed a steady revenue increase throughout the quarter, reaching a high of nearly $5.8K in late March. Downloads had a slight uptick towards the end of Q1, reaching over 2.4K. Weekly active users saw a rise in March, ending the quarter at approximately 8.5K.

ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD's 1945 - Airplane shooting game experienced a mixed trend in revenue, peaking at $3.6K in early February and then fluctuating before settling at around $2K by March end. The game's downloads showed a decreasing trend, with weekly active users following a similar pattern, dropping to around 3.2K.

Lion Studios' Base Attack saw no revenue at the beginning of the quarter, but this changed in January, with revenue reaching $247 by the end of March. Downloads spiked to over 3K in the final week of March, and weekly active users more than doubled from the start of the quarter, reaching over 7.2K.

Lastly, Archero by HABBY had a strong revenue performance with $7.4K in late December, which fluctuated and ended at nearly $5.8K. Downloads saw a gradual increase throughout Q1, while weekly active users saw a slight decline, ending at around 18K.
